- Select the right prayer leadership teamA desire to pray, a servant’s heart and wiling to accept responsibility
 
 
- Meeting timeBe family friendly by choosing a time they are already coming to church. Thirty minutes before a scheduled service is a great place to start.
 
- Location of meeting
- Select a room that is accessible and versatile.
 
- Atmosphere
- Music – there are many praise and worship tapes you can purchase or you may want to record your own.
 
- Lighting – the room should be dimly lit.
 
- Room arrangement – choose an arrangement that would allow for kneeling, sitting or walking.
 
- Prayer focus material – provide verses on the wall, Bibles or an announced topic for focused prayer.

- Announce teen prayer coordinator
 
- Print time and place on publication that advertises your church services
 
- Announce weekly in all teen Sunday school classes
