Use the following survey about your prayer life. Circle the number that each row’s answer mostly leans toward.

I like to pray, and am happy to go to prayer meetings. 1 2 3 4 5  I don’t like to pray very much, though I know I need to.
I have a routine and consistant prayer life. 1 2 3 4 5  I struggle to find time to pray. I am too busy, or I don’t make it a priority.
I find prayer interesting and engaging. 1 2 3 4 5  I find prayer boring and irrelevant.
I hear God speaking to me during times of prayer. I know His voice. 1 2 3 4 5  I rarely or never hear God speak to me. I don’t know when it’s Him or my own mind.
I’m always talking to God. 1 2 3 4 5  There are days when I never pray.
My prayer times are mixed with personal needs, as well as sufficient prayer time for my friends and needs of the world. 1 2 3 4 5  When I pray, it’s mostly for me or my family. I rarely ever pray about world issues.
Prayer is exciting and my relationship with God is strong. 1 2 3 4 5  Prayer is just a list of things I ask God to do.
I can pray with others with ease. 1 2 3 4 5  I am scared to pray with others. I don’t know what to say or what to do.
I want to have a deeper prayer relationship with God. 1 2 3 4 5  At this point, I honestly don’t care.
